About Me
Kijana’s professional and personal pursuits have aligned over time to focus on observing and improving (when necessary) the human experience. For the past several years she has continued to fine tune her skills of observation, analysis, and communication in order to capture and share what areas of different user experiences could benefit from better design. As a senior user experience researcher at projekt202, Kijana has been directly involved in user observation and design for Agresso, Charles Schwab, Samsung, Kronos, PepsiCo, SolarBridge, eMDs, RMA, and others.
Kijana’s background in engineering and psychology helped to guide her to meaningful interactions with users and experience improvement while she worked in the Internal Tools Group at Motorola and then Freescale Semiconductor. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Rice University in Houston and a M.S. in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
