About Me
Dr. Ivor Braden Horn is a board-certified pediatrician and leading thinker on how social media and mobile health (mHealth) technology can be used to impact improve health outcomes in underserved populations. As an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Children’s National Medical Center (CNMC) and George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Horn is an NIH funded investigator whose research interests focus on health care communications and child health disparities.
Based in Washington, DC, Horn has been a contributor to Parenting Magazine, iParenting.com and the Discovery Channel. She has appeared on NBC’s Today Show and Good Morning America Health and local news segments related to parenting and childhood development. Dr. Horn is also a contributing author on MyBrownBaby.com and tweets @drivorhorn.
Dr. Horn is a member of the Academic Pediatric Association, serving in leadership positions regionally as well as nationally. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
